2025 Membership (January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025)

The Virginia Floodplain Management Association (VFMA) is a non-profit 501(c)(4) organization (TAX ID# 30-0169277), created in 1994 to serve Virginia’s floodplain management community. VFMA held its first conference in Williamsburg, Virginia. Annual meetings were held as part of the Virginia Water Conference through 2020, which VFMA co-sponsored with the Virginia Lakes and Watersheds Association. Since 2021 VFMA has held its own conference to more closely focus on floodplain management issues.

VFMA’s membership year matches the calendar year (January 1st to December 31st), but you can join at any time! Please take a moment to support VFMA by becoming a member. Individual Memberships and Corporate Memberships are available. We depend upon your support!

VFMA is a State Chapter of the Association of State Floodplain Managers.
