The Fall Workshop is a one-day event that includes presentations on regional flood-related topics. VFMA host three Fall Workshops around the state, usually in October. VFMA submits each workshop for pre-approval with the Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM) for Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for Certified Floodplain Managers. These workshops are typically approved for 4-5 CECs.
2020 Fall Workshops
The 2020 Fall Workshops are going virtual! Due to the virtual environment, each workshop will be shortened to three (3) hours total. VFMA will request CECs from ASFPM for Certified Floodplain Managers for each workshop. VFMA anticipates 2.5 CECs for each virtual workshop. Registration prices for the workshops will be significantly reduced, and participation in multiple workshops is welcome.
