The Virginia Floodplain Management Association (VFMA) is a non-profit 501(c)(4) organization (TAX ID# 30-0169277), created in 1994 to serve Virginia’s floodplain management community. VFMA held its first conference in Williamsburg, Virginia. Annual meetings have since been held as part of the Virginia Water Conference, which VFMA co-sponsors with the Virginia Lakes and Watersheds Association.
VFMA’s membership year matches the calendar year (January 1st to December 31st), but you can join at any time! Please take a moment to support VFMA by becoming a member. Individual Memberships and Corporate Memberships are available. We depend upon your support!
VFMA is a State Chapter of the Association of State Floodplain Managers.
